Hurricane 4849-550 Turbo Supercore

Hurricane 4849-550 is a top-of-the-line ball-bearing turbo, perfect for 1,4-3,0 liter engines with up to 550 horsepower on gasoline. Suitable for all types of racing and custom builds.

Hurricane 4849-550 Supercore suits 1,4 to 3,0-liter engines and produces 300-500hp on Gasoline, -600hp on Ethanol and -350hp on Diesel. Smaller engines (1,4-2,2L) will get fast spool times with the 49mm turbine, while bigger engines (2,2-3,0L) will get even faster spool times.

The above-spool times can be adjusted with the turbine housing size, where a smaller one (A/R 0,83) improves the spool further, and a bigger one (A/R 1,21) increases peak power.
